As a GL Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company&#8217;s financial records and provide crucial support in financial reporting and analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide recommendations for improvements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper expense coding and timely recording of transactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and submit tax filings and assist with tax compliance activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in accounting or finance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CPA or progress towards CPA certification preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting or similar roles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of telecommunications industry accounting practices is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented GL Accountant to join our team in the fast-paced telecommunications industry.
